  • Fire, police, and civic officials join prospective residents at the project site for a full preparedness exercise

Ghaziabad, May 9, 2026 — Harmony Infra Ventures conducted a Fire Safety Drill at The Horizons Residences, its upcoming luxury residential project in Indirapuram. The exercise was formal and well-attended. It brought together senior government officials, fire safety personnel, and prospective residents — a deliberate choice at a stage when most developers are still focused on construction milestones.

With Indigo Infra carrying out excavation work at the site, the project is well into its early construction phase. That Harmony Infra Ventures chose this moment — before a single floor is cast — to conduct a structured fire drill with senior government officials says something about how the developer approaches its responsibilities.

Chief Fire Officer, Ghaziabad, Rahul Pal was present along with Ghaziabad Police Representative Manish Sengupta and Chowki Incharge, Shipra Suncity, Subham Gupta. The turnout from multiple departments was not incidental — fire safety in a residential complex is never a single agency’s responsibility

Fire Station Officer Mulchand led the session on fire safety — covering extinguisher operation, evacuation steps, and basic dos and don’ts for emergencies. Residents and site personnel asked questions throughout. In the live drill that followed, participants handled extinguishers on the ground themselves. The emphasis was on doing, not watching

H.S. Kandhari, Executive Director, Harmony Infra Ventures, addressed those gathered at the close of the drill. “Safety culture is something you build with people — before they move in, not after. Today’s drill is not a checkbox. It is a commitment. We want every resident of The Horizons Residences to know exactly what to do when it matters. That is what we are building towards.”

In most housing projects, fire preparedness comes up after residents have moved in — sometimes only after an incident makes it unavoidable. At The Horizons Residences, that conversation started at the excavation stage, with the officials who would actually respond to an emergency present on the ground. In a market where new residential supply is growing rapidly, that is worth noting.

 About The Horizons Residences

The Horizons Residences is Harmony Infra Ventures’ flagship ultra-luxury residential development in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. The project comprises 264 residences across two G+33 towers, offering 4 BHK, 5 BHK, and 5 BHK Special Edition residences. Prices start from ₹5.99 crore. The development is anchored by The Club 264 — a multi-level rooftop clubhouse spanning approximately 6226.7 sq. mt., featuring an all-season infinity pool, spa and wellness centre, gymnasium, star gazing dome, terrace garden, and a café-bar. The project is designed by Atwin, with structural consultancy by Optimum Design and landscaping by Nostri Design. RERA registration and all statutory approvals are in place.
