New Delhi, March 2026: PRABHAT – Society for Child Development successfully presented A Journey Into Expression – What is Love at the Open Palm Court, India Habitat Centre, from 28 to 31 March 2026. The exhibition brought together a powerful showcase of artworks created by 15 women with disabilities, reflecting their journey of discovering voice, emotion, and love through art.

The exhibition was inaugurated on 28 March 2026 by eminent art historian and curator Dr. Alka Pande, in the presence of Mr. Prem Singh Dhingra, who graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. The opening witnessed an engaged gathering of artists, art enthusiasts, and members of the cultural community, all coming together to support and celebrate this meaningful initiative.

Led by Dr. Madhumita Puri, the project focused on enabling participants to express themselves beyond conventional boundaries. Guided by artists Suparna Arora (Ceramics), Shalini Dutt (Textiles), and Sujata Das (Painting), the participants explored diverse mediums, translating their inner experiences into deeply personal and evocative works of art.

The exhibition stood as a testament to the transformative power of art as a tool for inclusion, empowerment, and emotional expression. Each artwork reflected not only creativity but also courage, individuality, and the human need for connection and love.

Thoughtfully documented by videographer Siddhartha Puri, the journey highlighted how art can bridge gaps, challenge perceptions, and create meaningful dialogue around ability and expression.

A Journey Into Expression – What is Love was widely appreciated by visitors for its sensitivity, authenticity, and the powerful narratives it brought forward. The exhibition reaffirmed PRABHAT’s commitment to “changing attitudes and changing lives” through impactful and inclusive initiative.
