Navi Mumbai, September 2026: ITM Skills University has partnered with Dombivli Nagari Sahakari Bank (DNS Bank) to launch the DNS SMART Bankers Program, a one-year Post Graduate Diploma in Relationship Banking that combines academic excellence with practical banking experience. Designed to prepare graduates for careers in the banking sector, the program reflects ITM Skills University’s commitment to industry-integrated education and creating career-ready professionals equipped to meet the evolving needs of India’s financial services industry.
The Dombivli Nagari Sahakari Bank (DNS Bank) SMART Bankers Program offers a structured curriculum that blends classroom learning with extensive on-the-job exposure. Students begin with three months of intensive residential training at the ITM Skills University campus, where they build a strong foundation in banking, finance, and relationship management. This is followed by a three-month branch internship and six months of on-the-job training at Dombivli Nagari Sahakari Bank (DNS Bank) branches, enabling participants to apply their learning in real banking environments while developing professional and customer-facing skills.
The program is open to graduates and postgraduates with a minimum of 60% marks who are below 25 years of age at the time of application. Priced at an all-inclusive fee of ₹340,000, the program covers boarding and lodging, training, certification, and health insurance, making quality professional education accessible to aspiring banking professionals.
A key highlight of the initiative is its strong career orientation. Upon successful completion of the academic and training phases, participants will undergo an AI-enabled readiness assessment before joining Dombivli Nagari Sahakari Bank (DNS Bank) as Assistant Managers. Students will receive stipends throughout the training journey, and successful candidates will be offered an annual CTC of ₹5.50 lakh, inclusive of performance-linked incentives as per the bank’s policy.
