Mumbai, 29th April 2026: The Billionaires for Peace Conclave (BFP), India’s premier convergence of global leaders, Nobel Laureates, and philanthropists, is proud to announce the association of actor and humanitarian Sonu Sood and his Sood Charity Foundation as a distinguished partner for its upcoming edition, to be held on May 21, 2026 at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai.

Organised by the I Am Peacekeeper Movement (IAPM), the conclave will bring together approximately 280 leaders, including Nobel Peace Prize Laureates Kailash Satyarthi, Leymah Roberta Gbowee, Mohan Munasinghe, and Houcine Abassi, alongside global business leaders, policymakers, and changemakers committed to advancing peace, sustainability, and human dignity.

Sonu Sood, widely recognised across India as a real-life humanitarian, whose efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic earned him the United Nations UNDP SDG Special Humanitarian Action Award, embodies the very spirit the conclave seeks to champion. Beyond the accolades, it is his philosophy that stands out. When asked how service becomes a habit, Sood’s response is simple yet powerful: “You don’t need to get big to start.” He further advocates for “Giving” to be taught as a dedicated subject in schools, alongside Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, so that helping others becomes not just an act, but a way of life.

Sonu Sood on joining hands with the Billionaires for Peace Conclave, said: “Being part of the Billionaires for Peace Conclave is very close to my heart, because it’s not just about conversations, it’s about responsibility. Over the years, I’ve realised that real change doesn’t come from how much you have, but from how willing you are to show up for someone who needs you. Through the Sood Charity Foundation, we’ve tried to build that mindset every day where helping people is not an occasional act, but a continuous commitment. Platforms like this bring together people who have the power to influence millions, and if that influence is directed towards compassion and action, the impact can be far-reaching. I truly believe peace begins when we start caring for each other in small, consistent ways and that’s something each one of us can do, starting now.”

This vision aligns closely with the I Am Peacekeeper Movement, where “Giving” is one of its seven core values.

The Sood Charity Foundation, established by Sood, works extensively across education, healthcare, career development, and disaster relief for underserved communities across India, bringing both credibility and grassroots impact to the BFP platform.

Speaking about the conclave, Dr. Huzaifa Khorakiwala said: “The Billionaires for Peace Conclave is about aligning influence with intent. With Nobel Laureates and global leaders coming together, Mumbai offers a powerful platform to drive meaningful conversations and real-world impact toward peace and sustainability.”

Other distinguished attendees include Dr. Ramdas Athawale, Minister of State for Social Justice & Empowerment; Savji Dholakia, Founder & Chairman of Hari Krishna Group; Motilal Oswal, Chairman & MD of Motilal Oswal Financial Services; and international leaders such as Margarita Louis-Dreyfus, Chairperson of the Louis Dreyfus Group.

About the Billionaires for Peace Conclave: The BFP is a global platform uniting Nobel Laureates, business executives, policymakers, and changemakers to foster dialogue and collaborative action toward peace, sustainability, and global cooperation. Building on the success of last year’s Global Justice, Love & Peace Summit at Expo City, Dubai, the Mumbai edition marks India’s growing role as a hub for high-impact global dialogue.
